Be Prepared
Off-roading involves risk – that’s why we love it. One of those is the potential for personal injury. If everything goes according to plan, at most, you’ll need antiseptic and a band-aid to treat minor cuts and scrapes. But if heaven forbid something more serious occurs out on the open trail, your first line of defense is a solid, well-stocked first aid kit for vehicles.
Beyond the Ziploc Bag
A carefully stocked first aid kit won’t prevent accidents, but it just might keep an accident from becoming a disaster. Chances are, you’ve brought along a “waterproof” plastic zipper bag filled with basic first aid odds and ends culled from the supplies you keep at home on some of your previous adventures. But again, when you’re out off-the-grid and in the backcountry, if something more serious happens, your first aid kit is all you have until you can get help.
A Fully Assembled Kit
Our fully assembled outdoor waterproof first aid kit is stocked with all the essentials. The 6500 Series First Aid Kit boasts twice the amount of first aid supplies offered in any of our other first care kits. It includes an approved Tourniquet, bleeding control equipment, a 36″ moldable splint, and a CPR mask that can be used on either an adult or child. Additionally, this first care kit exceeds the ANSI/ISEA Z308.1-2015 standard for Class B first aid kits. Don’t be intimidated by the supply list; no special certification is necessary to take full advantage of this kit! Health Savings Account (HSA) approved.
Find it When You Need It
The waterproof first aid case that’s compatible with our quick-release mounting system makes it simple to place this kit in a convenient, easy-to-access location so you can find it when you need it. Water and dust won’t get into this kit, but you’ll have no problem getting what you need in an emergency.
