While we always look for a strong social media presence and influence in the overland community, we also highly value down to earth, passionate people. We like go-getters, people with positive attitudes, and people that embody the outdoor lifestyle without even trying. If you're just trying to look cool for Instagram and hate the thought of getting out and exploring, you probably won't be a good fit.

All of us at Backwoods live by this motto: "You're not like this because you're at Backwoods, you're at Backwoods because you're like this."

Once you're part of the family, we expect a commitment to exclusively run our products for at least 12 months. We also expect you to attend expos/shows when possible (fuel & expenses paid), and to regularly post and tag us on social.

Lastly, we will not tolerate any disrespect to competitors or individuals in this community in any way, shape, or form. Remember, you're a representation of our brand, not yours. 

Yes. But keep in mind, we don't just determine your tier from the number of followers you have. We want to make sure you're a good fit and represent our brand and values. All sponsorship levels start with a discount, and then the rest is up to you. See the "How Does This Work" section above for details.

If we determine you qualify in a specific tier, you will receive 10% commission every time your unique discount code is used on our website. You will be paid at the end of the calendar year based on how much commission you have earned. The harder you work, the more you get paid. We will also feature you across our social media platforms and invite you and your rig to attend applicable shows & expos.

Short answer, likely not. We're a business, and our business relies on marketing efforts to build our brand and generate sales. Part of that marketing strategy is to get our brand out there to as many people as possible who are likely to purchase a product from us.

Of course, however we ask that you do not run competitors products if we produce that same product.

Please keep in mind that we get several of these applications per week, even daily sometimes. Your application will be reviewed, but it may take up to 2 or 3 weeks. You will receive a response back if we believe you would be a good fit to our brand and add value.
