Our Topper is an optional add-on, but is required for full length roof top tents so that they stick over the cab. The topper ultimately allows proper height for your tent to clear the cab, while also working with most roof racks. If you're looking for a shorter, more square profile roof top tent, you can select the "none" option. With no topper, the bed rack will sit close to flush with the cab.
